Iran’s Sanandaj Holds Family Walks to Remember Historic Visit of Late Leader

Sanandaj: People of different walks of life, along with their family members, participated in a walking session in the city of Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province, on May 12, 2026. The event was organized to commemorate the 17th anniversary of a historic visit of martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, to the province.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the walking event witnessed a significant turnout, indicating the deep respect and admiration the local population holds for the late leader. The gathering served not only as a tribute but also as a reminder of the leader's impactful visit to the region, which left a lasting impression on the community.
