A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Chargé d'Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in the Kingdom of Morocco met with the Minister of Youth at the Ministry's headquarters in Rabat within the framework of strengthening relations between the two countries, especially in the fields of culture and arts. According to the statement, the Chargé d'Affaires expressed his deep appreciation for the historical and cultural relations between Iraq and Morocco, stressing the importance of the role of culture and arts in strengthening relations between peoples, pointing to Iraq's keenness to enhance cultural and artistic cooperation with the Kingdom of Morocco, explaining that such meetings contribute to opening new horizons for joint cooperation. According to the statement, the mee ting discussed ways to develop cultural and artistic cooperation between the two countries, including the move towards signing a memorandum of understanding in this field.
