Tehran: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has accused the United States of violating the sovereignty of Kuwait and Jordan through its military bases, asserting Iran's right to respond to perceived aggression.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC released statements to the citizens of Kuwait and Jordan, claiming that US military bases in these countries operate under American command, undermining the authority of the host nations. The presence of these bases, the IRGC argues, infringes on national sovereignty.

The IRGC disclosed that its forces targeted US military installations in Kuwait and Jordan in retaliation for ongoing US attacks on Iran. The statements detailed drone strikes on key facilities at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, including an arms depot, a Patriot air-defense system, and an MQ-9 drone hangar. Additionally, Camp Udairi was attacked, resulting in casualties among US forces and significant damage to helicopters and drones.

In Jordan, the IRGC reported the destruction of a US THAAD missile-defense radar, a Patriot system, and a C-RAM radar. They also claimed responsibility for setting fire to fuel tanks, a large helicopter equipment depot, and a helicopter maintenance facility.

The IRGC cited the recent funeral of 168 individuals, including schoolchildren, who were victims of airstrikes in Minab during the early stages of the recent US-Israeli conflict. They accused the US of continuing crimes against Iranians, with some attacks allegedly launched from bases in Kuwait and Jordan.

The IRGC reiterated Iran's legal, religious, and logical right to target aggressors against the country and those responsible for the deaths of Iranian children, emphasizing their respect for the independence and territorial integrity of Jordan and Kuwait. The IRGC condemned the US for violating the territorial integrity and sovereignty of these nations, labeling the US military as a force known solely for committing crimes.
