Tehran: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Commander-in-Chief, Major General Ahmad Vahidi, has stated that enemies will persistently engage in hostility and conspiracies against the Iranian nation. He emphasized the importance of bolstering the country's defensive and offensive capabilities to counter these threats.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, General Vahidi made these remarks while congratulating Caretaker Defense Minister Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Ibn al-Reza and officials of the Defense Ministry on the occasion of National Defense Industry Day. He underscored that the enemies' hostility and conspiracies are ongoing, with the battlefield now seeing new forms of combined and military aggression.
General Vahidi stressed that maintaining a strategy focused on enhancing defensive and offensive power is a necessary and effective approach to overcoming historical challenges and preventing both current and future enemy schemes. He commended Iran's Armed Forces and the defense industry for their role in creating a robust defense against threats and acknowledged their successes in recent conflicts.
