Tehran: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Commander-in-Chief, Major General Ahmad Vahidi, has strongly condemned the recent US attack on a wedding ceremony in Kuhestak, labeling it a terrorist act and a manifestation of hostility towards the Iranian populace. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Major General Vahidi conveyed his message on Thursday, addressing the families of those martyred in what he described as a criminal attack by the US regime. The incident occurred during a wedding ceremony held at a residential house in the city of Kuhestak, located in Sirik, Hormozgan Province. Major General Vahidi characterized the attack as a 'terrorist and inhumane' act deliberately targeting civilians, including women and children. He asserted that the assault underscores the profound animosity and longstanding enmity harbored by adversaries of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic System. Additionally, he highlighted the incapacity of these enemies to subdue the resilience and determination of t he Iranian people. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the Iranian nation, and especially the bereaved families of the victims. Vahidi prayed for divine mercy and an elevated status for those who lost their lives in the tragic event. The IRGC chief emphasized that the innocent bloodshed would not be disregarded, and he assured that those responsible for orchestrating and executing this egregious crime would undoubtedly be brought to justice.
