IRGC Commander Highlights Media Limitations in Covering Lamerd Incident

Lamerd:The commander of the IRGC's Basij forces in the southern city of Lamerd, Fars province, has stated that the crime committed by the American enemy against the people of the city is so extensive that the news media cannot fully capture its scope.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Colonel Ali Gallehdarian made these comments during a meeting with Hossein Jaberi Ansari, managing director of IRNA. He emphasized that with each review of the catastrophe's dimensions, new aspects of the crime's enormity emerge, highlighting the importance of responsibly narrating the realities of the incident.

The missile used in the attack on Lamerd included shrapnel designed to penetrate armored vehicles, and its use against civilians raises serious concerns about adherence to international humanitarian law. The commander stressed that the event in Lamerd transcends a military occurrence, involving broad human and social dimensions that need to be communicated to the public with precision, clear documentation, and credible narratives.
