IRGC Deputy Chief Highlights Iranian Resilience Amidst External Pressures

Tehran: Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mostafa Izadi has declared that despite various pressures including sanctions, economic challenges, and warfare, efforts to sideline the Iranian nation have been unsuccessful, as the people have demonstrated remarkable resilience and unity.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during a ceremony in the northeastern province of South Khorasan, Izadi emphasized that the Iranian people's steadfastness has thwarted attempts to destabilize the nation and hinder the progress of the Islamic Republic. He elaborated on the diverse forms of pressure Iran has encountered, ranging from economic and political to security challenges, alongside media warfare and attempts to incite domestic unrest. Despite these challenges, he asserted that the country has maintained its independence and safeguarded its national interests.

Izadi highlighted the Iranian populace as the Islamic Republic's 'most important source of power.' He underscored the importance of addressing the people's issues, reinforcing national cohesion, and preventing adversaries from exploiting internal problems to create divisions. Furthermore, he commended Iran's Armed Forces for their role in defending the country during the recent conflict imposed by the United States and Israel, acknowledging their readiness and sacrifices that have been pivotal in securing Iran's safety and territorial integrity.
