Baku:Tehran Four oil tankers attempting to breach a ban were destroyed after hitting naval mines, according to a statement by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Public Relations. These events occurred in the prohibited corridor south of the Strait of Hormuz, where the tankers remain ablaze.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, two additional vessels were halted, and the IRGC Aerospace Force successfully shot down the 56th MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle using a modern defense system. This operation took place over the Strait of Hormuz at 430 a.m. on Wednesday.

The IRGC also stated that the Armed Forces are prepared to deliver a decisive blow to the Zionist regime and the United States. The announcement coincides with Iran's National Student Day, also known as the National Day of Fight against Global Arrogance, on November 4, which the IRGC claims will mark a significant defeat for global arrogance, akin to the Islamic Revolution's impact in 1979.
