Andimeshk: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced that an enemy MQ-9 drone has been intercepted and destroyed over Andimeshk, Khuzestan Province. The incident, which took place late on Wednesday, involved a newly deployed air-defense system operated by the IRGC Aerospace Force.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC Public Relations Office confirmed the successful downing of the MQ-9 drone. This action follows a similar report from the IRGC on Wednesday night, where another hostile drone, identified as a 'LUCAS' model, was shot down over Bandar Abbas. This operation was carried out using an advanced air-defense platform belonging to the IRGC Aerospace Force.
