Alborz: A spokesman for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has criticized the United States' strategy of intensifying economic pressure on Iran, describing it as an implicit admission of failure in military endeavors. Brigadier General Hossein Mohebi addressed media representatives in Iran's northern province of Alborz, highlighting the perceived shortcomings of US military efforts in the region.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mohebi emphasized that if the US had achieved success on the military front, there would be no necessity for what he termed "economic uproar." He noted that hostile forces have been compelled to retreat their vessels by a significant distance, and attempts to challenge Iran's defensive capabilities or to open the strategic Strait of Hormuz have not succeeded.

Mohebi called on Iranian media to clarify the nature of the conflict and its participants to the public. He urged them to prevent a narrative that portrays a battlefield-defeated adversary as victorious in the eyes of the people.
