Tehran:The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has issued a stark warning that any new attacks by the US or Israel will be met with a comprehensive and effective response. In a statement released on Tuesday, the IRGC dismissed threats and psychological warfare against Iran as baseless.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC's statement was issued to commemorate Iran's National Day of Fighting Arrogance. It highlighted the perceived failures of the United States and Israeli regime in their previous wars of aggression against Iran. The statement also referenced a recent meeting between the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei, and senior Iranian military commanders, where the Leader directed the Armed Forces to respond swiftly and without geographical limits to any new acts of aggression.

The IRGC revealed that it has updated its list of adversarial targets to include both tangible and intangible assets within reach, promising an immediate and effective response to any threats, irrespective of their nature or level. The statement emphasized that the Iranian Armed Forces and the nation would decide the circumstances under which enemy attacks would cease.

The statement aligns with recent comments from senior Iranian officials, who have warned that any new aggression against Iran would provoke a response extending beyond US military bases and assets in the region. Iran has expressed willingness to end the standoff with the US peacefully, provided that Washington meets Tehran's conditions, including a permanent end to aggression and the lifting of illegal sanctions.
