Yazd: The managing director of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) has identified national unity and solidarity as fundamental characteristics of the Iranian people, highlighting Yazd Province as a brilliant sample of social and communal harmony in the country. Hossein Jaberi Ansari made the remarks while meeting with Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Naseri, the representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, during his visit to Yazd Province.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRNA CEO noted that 'unity in diversity' and the ability to maintain national cohesion despite varying tastes and perspectives is a defining trait of the hardworking people of Yazd and serves as a benchmark for the entire nation. As Iran's official news agency, IRNA's mission is to act as a bridge, effectively conveying the messages of the society to governing bodies and vice versa, Jaberi Ansari stated. He added, "We represent Iran and Islam, as well as, and the state and nation."

For his part, Ayatollah Naseri expressed his appreciation for the efforts of IRNA correspondents in Yazd. He emphasized that a primary responsibility of the media is to bolster social achievements and spread hope across all sectors of society. Furthermore, he urged national media outlets to prioritize coverage of scientific achievements, knowledge-based enterprises, the 'resistance economy,' and supporting the manufacturing industry.
