Ishaq Dar Announces Upcoming Visit of President Pezeshkian to Pakistan

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has announced that President Masoud Pezeshkian will soon undertake an official visit to Islamabad. Speaking during an interview with Al Arabiya in New York, Dar revealed plans for Pezeshkian’s trip, expressing hope that it will occur in early August.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Dar emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to diplomacy and regional stability, welcoming efforts to foster dialogue and reduce tensions with Iran. He highlighted his ongoing communication with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, stressing Pakistan’s inability to remain silent on regional developments, such as the recent attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Dar condemned the actions of the Israeli regime and the U.S. concerning Iran’s nuclear sites, asserting that Pakistan will not ignore wrongful acts, regardless of the perpetrator’s relations with Pakistan. He reiterated that diplomacy and dialogue remain the preferred solution to the regional c
risis and affirmed Pakistan’s dedication to mediating between involved parties.

In line with these diplomatic endeavors, Pakistan seeks to play a pivotal role in advancing regional diplomacy. Earlier, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei confirmed President Pezeshkian’s upcoming visit, underscoring the importance of strong bilateral relations between the two nations.
