Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, and Executive Chairman of the Conference of Ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the countries of the Islamic world, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, met on Saturday with Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs of Oman, Dr. Mohammed Bin Said Al Mamari, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting took place at the venue of the 9th Conference of Ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Makkah, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The conference, titled "The Role of the Ministries of Islamic Affairs and Awqaf in Promoting the Principles of Moderation and Consolidating the Values of Moderation," will commence Sunday, with the participation of over 60 global Islamic figures in Makkah. Dr. Abdullatif highlighted the depth and strength of the relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oma n regarding Islamic affairs.
