The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has introduced an electronic judging system at the 44th King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran. The ministry incorporates cutting-edge technology in its programs and contests as part of its digital transformation drive. The electronic judging system is accurate, transparent, and makes scoring easy. It can choose questions from a question bank, track Quranic verses, organize contestants alphabetically, pause the timer in case a contestant encounters any issues, and quickly process results. It marks a significant advancement in such competitions, and helps the ministry keep pace with technological development.
