Tehran:Sistan and Baluchestan: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has successfully identified and dismantled a terrorist team in southeastern Iran, which was involved in the assassination of two Sunni clerics.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Public Relations Office of the Quds Base of the IRGC Ground Force released a statement on Tuesday detailing the operations. The dismantled terrorist team was responsible for the killings of Molavi Yousef Gorgij and Molavi Mohammad Anwar Rigi, as well as two Iranian security personnel.
The IRGC's operations culminated on October 4 with the elimination of the two remaining members of the terrorist team. In total, eight members of the group have been killed, while four others were captured in earlier operations.
