Israel Army Establishes ‘Yellow Line’ Demarcation in Southern Lebanon, Similar to Gaza

Beirut: Israels military announced on Saturday that it has established a "Yellow Line" demarcation in southern Lebanon, akin to the one that separates its forces from Hamas-controlled regions in Gaza. The establishment of this line comes in the wake of a reported attack on a "terrorist cell" operating near Israeli troops along the demarcation.

According to France24.com, this development follows a recent agreement between Israel and Lebanon for a 10-day ceasefire. The ceasefire aims to facilitate negotiations to end the six-week-long conflict involving Israel and Hezbollah, the Iran-backed militant group based in Lebanon. This demarcation line in southern Lebanon is intended to serve as a buffer zone to prevent further hostilities and maintain the fragile peace during the ongoing negotiations.
