Tehran: The Israeli occupation forces have carried out further attacks in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese field sources, amid continued tensions despite a US-backed framework agreement between Beirut and Israel: The sources said Israeli forces carried out explosions in the areas of Kfar Tebnit, Houla, al-Mansouri, and Haris.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, an Israeli drone also conducted a strike on the Al Deir neighborhood in Nabatieh Al Fawqa. These incidents occurred even after Lebanon and the Israeli occupation signed a US-brokered framework agreement at the end of June, which covers security arrangements and the redeployment of the Lebanese army in the south.
The agreement also includes measures aimed at rebuilding damaged areas and supporting Lebanon's economic recovery. However, most of its provisions have yeat to be implemented, leaving room for continued hostilities and uncertainty in the region.
