The Israeli army admitted, today, Saturday, that its forces launched an air strike on a mosque in southern Lebanon during the night, claiming that there were Hezbollah fighters inside it. The army said in a statement: "During the night, and under the direction of the Israeli army intelligence, the air force bombed Hezbollah fighters who were operating inside a command center located inside a mosque adjacent to Salah Ghandour Hospital in southern Lebanon." On Friday night, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Salah Ghandour Hospital campus in Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon "was subjected to Israeli artillery shelling." Dr. Mohammad Suleiman, director of the hospital run by the Islamic Health Authority, told France Presse: "Seven medical staff were injured when the hospital was subjected to "direct" Israeli shelling," adding that the facility was evacuated.
