Tehran: Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei has praised the remarkable national unity that emerged in Iran during and after the 12-day war imposed by the Israeli regime last month. During a visit to the Martyr Soleimani Judicial Complex in Tehran on Tuesday, Mohseni-Ejei said that the U.S. and Israel, due to their miscalculations, believed that Iran had been weakened.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, they seized this perceived opportunity to strike a blow against the country based on their erroneous assumptions, the Judiciary chief stated. However, he added, Iran delivered a crushing response to the aggressive Zionist enemy and its American backer. They requested a ceasefire because they were unable to confront the Iranian nation and its Armed Forces, he noted, in reference to the ceasefire that came into force on June 24.
Currently, Mohseni-Ejei asserted, the loyalty of the people and their obedience to leadership foster a spirit of unity and determination, which should be appreciated and safeguarded through extensive efforts.
