Geneva: The parliament speakers of Iran and Pakistan have underscored the importance of unity among Islamic nations to counteract what they describe as the divisive tactics of the Zionist regime. This call for solidarity was made during a meeting between Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, and Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, at the Sixth World Parliament Speakers’ Conference held in Geneva, Switzerland.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Qalibaf expressed his gratitude to Pakistan for its stance against the recent aggressions by Israel and the United States and for its comprehensive cooperation with Iran. He highlighted the assassination of several Iranian commanders in these aggressions, attributing the military actions of the Zionist regime to direct support from the United States. Qalibaf noted that Iran responded decisively to these acts.

Qalibaf further warned that the Zionist regime’s aggressive actions against Islamic countries are ongoing. He asserted that their strategy involves attempting to sow division among Islamic nations, stressing the necessity for Islamic countries to mount a serious resistance against such efforts.
