Tehran: The joint naval exercise of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy and the Russian Federation Navy has concluded with the departure of the Russian Navy's helicopter carrier. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the joint drills between the naval forces of Iran and Russia were held with the aim of strengthening bilateral cooperation, enhancing maritime security, and increasing operational coordination between the two forces. The exercise officially ended with the farewell of the Russian Navy's helicopter carrier. The naval exercise was conducted in line with developing maritime diplomacy, expanding military interactions, and exchanging operational experience. Officials from both sides emphasized the continuation of joint cooperation in maritime security and safety.
