Amman: Jordan condemned on Saturday the renewed brutal Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, targeting a power and water desalination plant, in flagrant violation of the sovereignty of states, a threat to their security, stability, and territorial integrity, a dangerous escalation and a blatant breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed in a statement Jordan's absolute solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait. The statement underscored Jordan's support for all steps taken by these nations to protect their sovereignty, security, and the safety of their citizens and residents.

The attacks have raised significant concerns in the region, with various countries expressing their disapproval of actions that undermine the peace and stability of sovereign states. The targeted facilities are crucial for the daily lives of people in Bahrain and Kuwait, and such aggression jeopardizes essential services.
