King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelif) signed with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on Thursday a financial support memorandum worth nine million dollars to support the Humanitarian Fund in Yemen. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said that the Assistant General Supervisor of the Center for Operations and Programs, Eng. Ahmad Al-Baiz, signed the memorandum via video call with the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations for Humanitarian Affairs and Deputy Emergency Relief Coordinator, Joyce Musuya. SPA added that, according to the memorandum, the Center will support the Fund to confront the humanitarian crises and humanitarian needs of the Yemeni people and support the construction of non-governmental organizations with the aim of reducing their dependence on the Humanitarian Fund and enhancing Its potential to attract financing. It stated that this comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts, represented by the Cent re, to provide the necessary resources to support humanitarian work in Yemen and to enhance strategic cooperation with international partners and funding agencies to improve the living conditions of those affected there.
