The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) extended yesterday emergency humanitarian aid to individuals affected by the recent floods and heavy rains in the governorates of Hajjah, Al-Hudaydah, and Taiz. The aid included 5,535 food baskets, 1,580 tents, and 1,356 shelter kits, benefitting 46,825 individuals. This support was part of an annual emergency response plan in collaboration with local partners in governorates impacted by natural disasters. "The Presidential Leadership Council and the government will exert all available efforts to alleviate the suffering of those affected in the stricken areas, in cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represented by KSreleif," said Othman Mujalli, a member of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council. He expressed deep gratitude for the Kingdom's commendable role and swift response to ease the burden of the natural disaster. The aid comes within the humanitarian efforts the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provides through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people during the humanitarian crisis.
