Kuwait youth hanball team qualified to the quarter final in the 18th Asian Youth Handball Championship, held in Amman, despite losing to Iran (23-25). In remarks to KUNA on Tuesday, Head of the Kuwaiti delegation, Qaid Al-Adwani, praised the players' performance during the tournament, adding that they presented great efforts during the game against Iran, which lead to the qualification of both teams to the quarter final. On Saturday, Kuwait defeated China (28-24) in its first match in the 18th Asian Youth Handball Championship The championship will serve as a qualifying event for the 25th IHF Men's Junior (U21) Handball World Championship in Poland 2025.
