Tehran: Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has congratulated the Iranian people on what he described as a victory over the Israeli regime. In his third video message, Ayatollah Khamenei stated, “Despite all the fanfares and claims, the Zionist regime was nearly destroyed and crushed under the blows of the Islamic Republic.”
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ayatollah Khamenei prayed for the martyred commanders and scientists assassinated by the Israeli regime in recent attacks. He noted that such strikes by the Islamic Republic had never crossed the enemies’ minds, but they became a reality. He lauded the Iranian Armed Forces for breaking through the enemy’s advanced multilayered defenses and demolishing several urban and military centers through missile strikes.
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that Iran’s response made it clear to adversaries that any aggression against the Islamic Republic would come at a steep cost. He attributed this achievement to both the Iranian Armed Forces and the people. Furthermore, he congratulated Iran on its victory over the American regime, asserting that the United States intervened because it feared the complete destruction of the Israeli regime.
He argued that the U.S. intervention yielded no significant results and called for independent legal action in international courts regarding attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities. Ayatollah Khamenei criticized U.S. President Donald Trump for exaggerating the situation, suggesting that it served to conceal their failure to achieve objectives.
Ayatollah Khamenei claimed that the Islamic Republic emerged victorious again by delivering a harsh response to the United States. He noted that Iran targeted the Al Udeid base in Qatar, a major regional U.S. base, causing significant damage. He warned that the Islamic Republic’s capability to strike U.S. bases in the region is a serious matter that could be repeated at a high cost to the enemy.
He also commended the extraordinary unity and solidarity of the Iranian people, praising the nearly 90-million-strong nation for their shared support of the military. Responding to Trump’s remark that the Iranian people should “surrender,” Ayatollah Khamenei dismissed it as absurd, stating that the U.S. has sought confrontation with Iran since the Islamic Revolution.
Ayatollah Khamenei accused previous U.S. administrations of concealing their intent to force Iran’s surrender, asserting that no logic permits such demands. He highlighted Iran’s rich cultural heritage and civilization, emphasizing that expecting surrender from such a nation is nonsensical and would be ridiculed by intellectuals.
In conclusion, Ayatollah Khamenei prayed to God for the victory of the Iranian nation.
