Beirut: Hassan Fadlallah, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc in Lebanon's parliament, has emphatically stated that Hezbollah will not disarm. He emphasized that the military strength of the resistance is what compels adversaries to agree to ceasefires.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Fadlallah criticized certain political factions within the Lebanese government, accusing them of advocating for a state monopoly on arms while Zionist forces continue to harm civilians. He condemned these officials for making what he described as irresponsible statements amidst ongoing conflict.

Fadlallah challenged those advocating for disarmament, suggesting that if they believe they can enforce a monopoly on arms, they should attempt to do so. He asserted that while political power may be temporary, the resistance and its armaments are enduring. He emphasized that the resistance is not a mere tool but represents the will of the people.

Addressing the recent skirmishes in the Ali al-Taher heights, Fadlallah accused the enemy of fabricating reports about attacks on civilians to disguise its military shortcomings, falsely claiming success against resistance fighters. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by the Resistance in defending its land and its people.

Fadlallah reiterated the commitment to steadfastness and resistance, stating that as long as the resistance continues, efforts to forcibly displace and permanently disenfranchise its people will not succeed.
