Martyr Ayatollah Khamenei Remembered in ‘Amin of Iran’ Ceremony in Tehran

Tehran: A ceremony dubbed 'Amin of Iran 2' was held at Tehran's Vahdat Hall on May 11, 2026, in commemoration of martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and with the aim of preserving his vision and support for the country's scientific advances. The event was attended by Hossein Afshin, Vice President for Science, Technology and the Knowledge-Based Economy; Abbas Salehi, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance; and Fatemeh Mohajerani, the government spokesperson, along with a number of officials and scientific elite. The word Amin in Persian means 'an honest trustworthy person.'

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the event underscored Ayatollah Khamenei's commitment to fostering scientific growth and technological progress in Iran. The government officials and scientific community members present at the ceremony emphasized the importance of continuing his legacy in promoting knowledge and innovation across the nation.
