Egyptian Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Co-operation Rania el Mashat discussed Thursday 12/9/2024 with UN Resident Coordinator in Egypt Elena Panova priorities of strategic partnership between Egypt and UN. The two sides also probed efforts of integration between developmental cooperation projects and government investment spending in order to boost economic development. The meeting reviewed the most important outcomes of first year of implementing the strategic framework for partnership between both sides. The framework calls for boosting investment in human capital, promoting sustainable and comprehensive economic development, resilience amid climate change, efficiency of natural resources managements, governance, transparency and interaction along with empowerment of women. During the meeting, Mashat tackled various vistas of partnership between the two countries and talked about the role of her ministry in promoting government investment spending through arranging nationa l priorities and encouraging the private sector to further participate in more investments. The minister also reviewed the contribution to enhancing international partnerships aimed at implementing Egypt's developmental vision 2030.
