Geneva: An exhibition of paintings by children from Minab, titled 'Children of Minab Still Draw the Sun', was inaugurated by the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the United Nations headquarters on Tuesday.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the exhibition, which will run for a week, highlights the suffering of Iranian children amid the US and Zionist regime's aggression. The artwork, created by children whose lives were disrupted by missile strikes, offers a poignant reflection of their experiences.

The exhibition features paintings from students of Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School in Minab, many of whom were martyred or injured during US attacks on the school. Some of these artworks were retrieved from the rubble and are now displayed for an international audience at the UN headquarters in Geneva.

This event, organized to coincide with the International Day to Protect Education from Attack, uses children's art to emphasize the devastating impact of war and violence on young lives. It also underscores the pressing need to protect schools and uphold the right to education.
