The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority "Monsha'at", in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, yesterday launched the activities of Industry and Mineral Resources Pioneers Week. The event will continue through September 19th at the establishment support center in Jeddah. The event aims to attract owners of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs, and to introduce them to promising investment opportunities in the industrial and mining sectors. The activities also include meetings and dialogue sessions. The establishment support center will host, throughout the week, display tables presented by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the National Academy for Industry, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY), the Saudi Export-Import (EXIM) Bank, and the National Industrial Development Center. The discussions will cover the most prominent challenges facing local companies in keeping pace with industrial change. They will also cover raising awareness among SMEs about local content, introduce the services and incentives provided in the industrial sector, and highlight opportunities and capabilities in the mining sector.
