Bethlehem- Ma'an- Dr. Zuhair Mutlaq, Secretary-General of the National Union of Palestinian Youth, stated that the UN resolution is a victory for Palestinian rights, justice for the Palestinian cause, and the right of the Palestinian Arab people to freedom, independence, liberation from occupation, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. He added that the UN General Assembly resolution, with a majority of 124 members, is an international consensus to condemn the practices of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.
