Nations Encouraged to Seize Opportunities for New Global Order: Iran’s Security Chief

Moscow: Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian has highlighted the emergence of new opportunities for establishing a new world order, urging nations to fully engage with these prospects. Ahmadian articulated these views upon his arrival in Moscow, where he is attending the 13th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ahmadian emphasized that the gathering, along with the creation of groups like BRICS and organizations such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, signifies ongoing efforts to develop a new global framework to replace the existing one, which he claims promotes unilateralism. He stressed the importance of nations capitalizing on these emerging opportunities to the fullest extent.

The 13th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues is being held in Moscow from May 27 to 29, with participation from over 125 delegations representing more than 100 countries, as reported by Russia's TASS news agency. Ahmadian received an invitation to the meeting from Sergei Shoigu, the secretary of Russia's Security Council.

While attending the meeting, the Iranian security official is set to engage in discussions with Russian officials and delegates from other participating nations.
