Riyadh: The National Center for Security Operations (NCSO) received 2,953,485 emergency calls through the 911 hotline across Riyadh, Makkah, and the Eastern Region during June. The hotline is part of the tasks of the Unified Security Operations Centers. The centers receive calls and transfer them to security authorities and service entities using automated and advanced systems that are operated by professional staff proficient in several languages who work around the clock. In Makkah, 1,142,511 calls were received; in Riyadh, 1,267,335; and in the Eastern Region, 543,639, making a total of 2,953,485 calls in the regions. Source: Saudi Press Agency
