Netanyahu Faces Empty Seats During UN Speech Amidst Criticism

New york: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson has criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address at the United Nations General Assembly, labeling it as fascist rhetoric and noting the sparse attendance during the speech.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the spokesperson, Baghaei, expressed his views on his X account, highlighting the nearly vacant seats as Netanyahu, whom he referred to as a war criminal wanted by the International Criminal Court, delivered his address. He remarked that the images of innocent Iranian children represented the nation of Iran and served as witnesses to what he described as the true face of a criminal who openly brags about his crimes.

Baghaei further questioned how a wanted war criminal could stand on such a prestigious global platform, look into the eyes of the international community, and continue to spread lies and deception to justify acts of genocide, aggression, and war-mongering.

The speech, delivered on Friday, was met with walkouts by dozens of representatives from various countries, an action that was supported by protesters gathered outside the UN building.
