New Murabba Development Company, a PIF establishment, today announced in a press release significant progress in the construction of its urban destination. The company has completed 86% of the excavation work at the Mukaab site and relocated over 10 million cubic meters of soil. According to the release, the company has recorded over three million safe working hours, and reaffirms its commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and security for its team. New Murabba CEO Michael Dyke said: "These milestones are a testament to the dedication and skill of our team, and our ambition to build a world-class destination that prioritizes both innovation and the well-being of our workforce. We are proud of the progress made at New Murabba, and excited to continue shaping the future of Riyadh." The company focused on environmentally friendly methods for managing the excavated materials. The excavation process required the daily use of approximately 250 excavators and over 400 pieces of equipment to effec tively manage the extensive amount of work. The company is currently in the process of constructing a temporary bridge to facilitate excavation operations. This bridge will link the construction site to King Khalid Road, streamlining the work and laying the groundwork for the commencement of construction on the Mukaab in the upcoming months.
