Tehran: Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Major General Mohsen Rezaee says no negotiations would take place with the United States until Iran's conditions are met. In a post on X, Rezaee warned against being distracted by the US president's mixed signals, ranging from 'no negotiations' to 'we're ready to talk.'

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Rezaee emphasized that calculations concerning oil and the straits had changed, warning that 'damage control won't stop what's coming.' He firmly stated, 'No talks until Iran's conditions are met. Period!'

Back in July, the US carried out waves of deadly assaults on Iran and imposed a naval blockade of the country in violation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Islamic Republic, signed on June 17, to end the US-Israeli war of aggression. In response, Tehran halted negotiations, launched devastating airstrikes against strategic American targets across West Asia, and closed off the Strait of Hormuz.
