Tehran: Iran's Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref has stated that the global community now recognizes the alleged nuclear threat against Iran as a false narrative, emphasizing the country's commitment to utilizing advanced technologies for national and regional purposes. Speaking at an empowerment and entrepreneurship festival in Tehran, Aref criticized the Israeli regime's assertions about Iran's peaceful nuclear endeavors, highlighting Israel's lack of adherence to international treaties and regulations.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Aref discussed how Iran has faced sustained pressure from Western and regional entities over the years, yet has held firm to its principles despite efforts to destabilize the nation through military, social, and political tactics. He noted that when direct confrontations failed, adversaries increasingly turned to exploiting social divisions during the 1990s and beyond.

Aref elaborated that ethnic, regional, and social differences were misrepresented as sources of conflict, despite Iran's diverse ethnic makeup being a significant national strength. He explained that these tensions were transformed into national security threats with the aid of groups linked to foreign powers, leading to considerable human and social costs.

Addressing the nuclear issue, Aref stated that Iran's approach focuses on leveraging advanced technologies for the welfare of its citizens and the broader region. He contended that the nuclear topic was instigated by the Israeli regime, which does not honor international treaties or global norms. Aref reiterated that Iran would persist in its pursuit of technological advancement while safeguarding its national sovereignty and interests.
