Jeddah: The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, has condemned the attacks by Iranian-backed militias launched from Iraqi territory against Saudi Arabia. Taha described the drone attacks as a violation of international law, an escalation, and a threat to regional security and stability. According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the Secretary-General expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia, supporting its efforts to protect its sovereignty and maintain its security and territorial integrity. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation stands with the Kingdom in its actions to safeguard its national interests.
