Islamabad: Pakistan supports all efforts aimed at resolving the Strait of Hormuz crisis, believing that easing tensions would help create conditions conducive to the United States and Iran returning to the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), according to the Foreign Office. According to Nam News Network, Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi, speaking at the weekly press briefing in Islamabad, emphasized that the resolution of the standoff in the Strait of Hormuz would "obviously create a conducive environment for parties to return to the Islamabad MoU." He reiterated Pakistan's support for dialogue and peaceful resolution of regional disputes.
