Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Eager for Productive Talks with Iranian Counterpart

Islamabad: Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, has expressed eagerness to engage in meaningful discussions with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. These meetings are intended to enhance regional peace and stability.According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ishaq Dar shared his sentiments on X following Araghchi's arrival in Islamabad, emphasizing the collaborative spirit of the visit. He noted his pleasure in joining Field Marshal Asim Munir and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to welcome the Iranian foreign minister.Araghchi's visit to Islamabad marks the beginning of a diplomatic tour aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and consulting on regional developments. His itinerary includes subsequent visits to Oman and Russia. In a statement prior to his departure, Araghchi highlighted the importance of coordinating with regional partners on issues of mutual concern.Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei previously announced the planned visits, unde rscoring that discussions would cover efforts to end the US-Israeli imposed war on Iran and broader initiatives for regional peace.
