The Palestinian presidency strongly denounced the horrible massacre committed on Saturday by the Israeli occupation forces in Al-Mawasi neighborhood, Khan Yunis, south Gaza Strip, where scores of Palestinian civilians were killed. The Israeli airstrikes on this area, which was previously designated as safe zone, constitute an unjustifiable genocidal act and a complete crime against humanity, according to a statement by the Palestinian presidency. The statement held the Israeli occupation forces and the US administration responsible for the atrocities being committed on a daily basis against the Palestinian people in contravention with the international humanitarian law. It noted that any states or parties that might justify the ongoing genocides on Israel's right to self-defense would by regarded as accomplices in such criminal acts. The Israeli air attacks on the internally displaced people in the camp claimed at least 90 lives and seriously injured 300 others, Palestinian medical sources said, noting th at the majority of the victims were children and women.
