Palestinian Resistance Vows to Continue Amid Allegations of Israeli Genocide.

Gaza City: Khalil al-Hayya, the deputy chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau, has asserted that the Palestinian nation remains resolute in the face of what he describes as Israel’s brutal genocide in Gaza. He emphasized that Palestinians will not yield to the actions of the “apartheid Zionist regime.”

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Hayya conveyed his disappointment with the response of certain Arab and Islamic countries regarding the situation. In an interview with an Arab media outlet, he stated, “We are closely following the brutal and unprecedented crimes in history committed by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip.”

Hayya accused Israel of attempting to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, aiming for the complete destruction of life in the region. He claimed that the regime disregards the existence of the Palestinian nation and has been actively targeting civilians, including hospitals, civil defense forces, women, children, and the elderly, with the intent of emptying the territory o
f its inhabitants.

He further alleged that Israel has divided the northern Gaza Strip from Gaza City to forcibly displace Palestinians as part of a “malicious plan.” Hayya expanded on the extent of the atrocities, mentioning the impact on areas such as Gaza, the West Bank, and territories occupied since 1948. He expressed confidence that Israel’s aspirations to establish a Jewish Zionist state will remain unfulfilled.

Hayya also highlighted the destruction in the southern region along the border with Egypt, accusing Israel of expanding the Netzarim corridor to protect its forces from resistance attacks. Addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, he accused Israel of using starvation as a weapon, restricting access to essential services like vaccinations for children in the northern Gaza Strip, and pressuring Palestinians to surrender.

He warned of the severe consequences of famine and hunger, placing responsibility on Israel. Despite the dire situation and the “heartbreaking” scenes of civilian casualties
, Hayya reaffirmed the Palestinian people’s determination to resist surrendering their land and homes.

The Hamas official urged the international community and Arab nations to take decisive action to uphold Palestinian rights and halt the alleged crimes of the enemy, calling for “practical and courageous actions” to counter the ongoing violence.
