Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian has stressed the need for justice, national unity, and efforts to address economic problems, warning that the United States and the Israeli regime seek to exploit internal divisions.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Pezeshkian spoke at a ceremony in Tehran to honor the esteemed families of the government's martyrs. He paid tribute to the martyrs and described the assassination of Iranian officials, commanders, and scientists as an example of the double standards of those who claim to be advocates of human rights and democracy.

Pezeshkian emphasized that governing the country requires piety, justice, fairness, and avoiding self-interest. He stressed that officials must serve all people fairly, regardless of their political, religious, ethnic, or gender backgrounds.

The president highlighted addressing economic and livelihood problems as a government priority and called for national unity and cohesion to improve the country's condition.

Pezeshkian also warned that the United States and the Israeli regime seek to exploit internal divisions. He emphasized that preserving unity, showing humility toward the people, and following the path of the martyrs are essential.
