New York:President Masoud Pezeshkian engaged in discussions with Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Wednesday during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, this meeting was part of a series of bilateral discussions held by President Pezeshkian with various foreign officials on his first day in New York.

Alongside his meeting with the Bangladeshi leader, President Pezeshkian also held talks with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr St¸re, furthering diplomatic relations on the sidelines of the UN Assembly.
