Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian says that the Iranian people will not be forced into submission through pressure or intimidation, declaring that Iran will not surrender.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, in a post on X early on Sunday, Pezeshkian stated, "If Americans are warriors, let them face our valiant military forces." He also questioned the humanitarian consequences of attacks on essential services, asking, "Why wage war on civilian infrastructure, food supplies, and livelihoods?"
"If they're human, why deny people access to water, food, and medicine?" the president added. Pezeshkian further emphasized, "Our people can't be bullied into submission. Iran won't surrender."
