Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said the State pays special attention to establishing more technology colleges, as they provide high-quality and integrated educational and training services that help bring graduates capable of competing in local, regional and global labor markets. Madbouli made the remarks during his inspection tour of Taibah University of Technology in Luxor. The premier was accompanied by Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Higher Education Minister Ayman Ashour, Housing Minister Sherif El Sherbiny and Education Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif, as well as other officials. Upon his arrival, the prime minister was received by the university's president Prof. Adel Zein El Din, who informed Madbouli about the university's educational services. Zein El Din said the university includes the college of industrial and energy technology and the college of hotel and tourism services technology, adding the study at the university is based on the two-semester system, and the duration of each semester is not less than 15 weeks in addition to a week of exams. The university's president noted the university's vision is centered on the effective contribution to the economic and social development, through providing technological education with the quality and efficiency required by the labor market and achieving excellence, creativity and global leadership in a way that ensures independence and self-sufficiency. The university aims to provide distinguished technological education through high-quality programs for undergraduate and postgraduate education and to qualify graduates with technological creativity skills to be able to compete in the local, regional and international labor markets, in addition to achieving quality assurance and academic accreditation according to internationally approved standards, Zein El Din added.
