Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli expressed deep appreciation for the Egyptian mission participating in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Madbouli, meanwhile, lauded the strenuous efforts exerted by the Egyptian athletes in the various games whether at the individual or team levels. This came in a phone call received by Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy from the prime minister. In a statement on Tuesday 30/7/2024, the Youth and Sports Ministry said that Madbouli applauded the distinguished performance of the Egyptian players in the different games. Madbouli also congratulated the Egyptian mission for winning the first medal for Egypt in the Olympics by Egyptian fencer Mohamed El Sayed, who won a bronze.
