Qazvin: The CEO of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) says there are growing signs of political consensus and solidarity in the country since the administration of President Masoud Pezeshkian took office. Hossein Jaberi-Ansari made the remarks in a meeting with the governor of Qazvin province on Wednesday, noting that ‘political contradictions and tensions’ in Iran have been decreasing gradually.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Jaberi-Ansari highlighted that political conflict has been a stumbling block in Iran’s transformation and development plans. Despite some political competitions and disagreements, the country has moved towards balance. He emphasized that the current administration is seeking to achieve its goals without conflict or tension, prioritizing national interests over fractional interests.
Jaberi-Ansari stressed the importance of media in focusing on development plans, particularly those in Qazvin. He pointed out that major plans pursued by the governor’s office should be given priority and covered by news agencies like IRNA.
He also stated that media’s role extends beyond news and advertising. Professionalism in media, he argued, involves illustrating the capacities, capabilities, challenges, and achievements of provinces, with IRNA expected to play a significant role in this endeavor.
